The Two Roads CFO serves clients to help them improve their business by providing customized metrics and reporting, analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic advising likely to include planning, coaching, and process improvement. This role is positioned to add value to the client as the highest-level financial support their small business employs.

What you’ll be doing:

• Building customized reports to track the financial performance of your clients, including both financial and non-financial KPI’s.
• Leading monthly financial review meetings to explain results and offer insights into clients’ businesses. Provide value by identifying opportunities and suggesting ways to improve.
• Maintaining responsibility for clients’ financial statement structure, accounting methodology, and appropriate cost/revenue allocations.
• Providing ad-hoc consulting as needed.
• Facilitating the annual budgeting process for each client.
• Creating monthly cash flow and longer-term forecasts.
• Working with outside parties (banks, CPA’s, etc) on mutual client interests.
• You may also be involved in coaching, process improvement, and strategic planning for some clients.

• Ability to see and understand both the big picture and the details.
• Clear, concise, and kind communication abilities through all mediums: video conference, phone, email, and text.
• Ability to work remotely 30+ hours/week.

It’s a bonus if you:

• Have previous remote work experience.
• Know a thing or two about QuickBooks Online.
• Have experience serving multiple clients at the same time.

Minimum Level of Education Required

4 year degree in a related field of study

Experience Level

Relevant work history demonstrating experience and success
