The Lyssiotis lab in the Department of Molecular and Integrative Physiology is seeking a highly motivated and detail orientated Research Lab Tech Associate who works well independently for a basic research position managing standards, libraries, samples, and collaborations for mass spectrometry-based metabolomics project.

This individual will manage large metabolite standard libraries and integrate these into mass spectrometry-based metabolomics experiments and protocols. This individual will similarly manage sample preparation and analysis and provide research support for collaborations. The purpose of these studies is to understand how alterations in metabolism affect the properties of cancer cells. The candidate is expected to work independently on data and collaboration management and will work alongside a senior technician to perform data collection.
M-F days with some nights and weekends
