Overview:

Veeco’s Information Security group is looking for an Intern to join our team to work on various security related projects.


Responsibilities:

  • Help remediate identified security baseline non-compliance through software updates, installs, and configuration changes
  • Assist the third-party vendor security program by conducting vendor reviews.
  • Expand security awareness program beyond currently monthly messaging and phishing campaigns
  • Assist security operations investigating potential phishing emails and other security indicators
  • Develop reporting for assigned projects
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least a sophomore enrolled in a Computer Science, Information Security or related subject college level Program.
  • Must have at least an overall 3.0 GPA.
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook.

Required Skills:

  • Able to work independently with some guidance provided.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking.
  • Detail oriented & self-motivated.
