Job Details

This role will exercise judgement in evaluating, selecting, and using standard techniques to design and plan for medical and healthcare facilities. The requirements are as follows:

• Create, review, and coordinate architecture floor plans, interior elevations, ceiling plans, equipment plans and more for clinical spaces.
• Direct or review the work of project team
• Plan and design information through production and implementation of documentation process to ensure continuity of design intent.
• Translates client operational model into architectural design/medical plans
• Maintains detailed documentation of client meetings
• Coordinate and prepare drawings and designs in accordance with industry standards
• Understand fundamental accounting principles and project accounting process

Qualifications:

• Degree in Architecure
• 5+ years of experience in healthcare design and planning background
• Sustainable design accreditation preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, Grasshopper
• Knowledge of current healthcare planning and programming concepts including patient safety and evidence-based design principal.
• Strong knowledge of architectural building systems, building codes, and accessibility guidelines.
