We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician II to join our Pharmacy department. This position is Full-Time, varied shift, scheduled 40 hours per week and is eligible for a comprehensive benefits package. Location:
Mid Columbia Medical Center is located in The Dalles, Oregon. We work, live, and play in the scenic Columbia River Gorge, Oregon. Located 85 miles east of Portland in the majestic Columbia River Gorge, The Dalles features old-growth forests, rushing waterfalls, and year-round access to outdoor recreation, including downhill and cross-country skiing, world-class water sports, and miles of hiking and mountain biking trails. The area boasts award-winning wineries, and, most importantly, warm, friendly people.
Responsibilities:
Assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintain the medication inventory and maintain patient records to assure patients receive pharmaceutical care consistent with the mission, values and goals of the organization.
Qualifications:
Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
Licensure/Certification:
  • Oregon Board of Pharmacy technician license
  • National Technician Certification
Experience:
  • Prior pharmacy tech/clerk experience or current pharmacy tech student or program graduate preferred.
  • Intravenous (IV) Admixture experience preferred.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
  • High degree of focus and accuracy
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service
  • Strong verbal communication skills
