Job Description

We are looking for qualified, highly proficient working superintendent for our company. This person will manage small job sites around the Sacramento area which do not require a dedicated full time superintendent. The position is a bags on, working position, and a junior superintendent would be a good fit who can apply hands on construction knowledge with a desire to learn and advance into a higher position.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Must be able to read and understand the following qualifications. If you do not have the required experience, you will not be considered for the position.
  • A minimum of 5 years of verifiable experience as a lead man or foreman for a crew of 5 men or more.
  • Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in reading and understanding plans.
  • Must have your own hand tools, hard hat, work boots, etc.
  • References to verify experience are required.

Job Locations: From Davis to Tahoe and from Chico to Modesto.
Job Details:
  • 40 hour work week. Monday - Friday (7am - 4pm)
  • All employees are hired on a 90-day probation period, after which they will be offered medical, dental, and vision benefits.
  • We work on a mixture of private and public projects.
  • Prevailing wages are sometimes available, but not always.
  • Due to flow and job requirements, may be asked to also perform concrete, wood framing, or steel framing work.

Schedule:

Supplemental pay types: Signing bonus of $3,000 upon completion of 120 days employment as a working superintendent.

  • Are you able to commute for this job?
  • Are you able to work efficiently for 8 hours a day from Monday - Friday 7am - 4pm?
  • Are you a legal US citizen or documented worker.
  • Do you have experience installing standing seam metal roofing and trim?
  • Do you have experience installing metal wall panels and trim?
  • Do you have experience setting up forms or pouring concrete?
  • Do you have any wood framing experience?

Education:
  • High school or equivalent. (Preferred)

Experience in one of the following:
  • Metal Roofing installation - 5 years minimum
  • Metal Siding Installation - 5 years minimum
  • Metal Building Erection - 5 years minimum
  • Wood Carpentry - 5 years minimum
  • Concrete Setup - 5 years minimum

License/Certification:
  • Driver's License
  • Forklift certification
  • Boom lift certification
  • Scissor lift certification
