Job Description

The CCB Finance Leader plays a vital role as leader and financial advisor to Corporate and Commercial Banking (CCB) leaders and stakeholders. Develops framework to evaluate & prioritize initiatives, Leads the create of business cases for expansion in verticals, products, and new geographies. Working closely with Corporate Treasury, Finance and CCB stakeholders, establishes standards for measures on business unit performance and balance sheet management. Establishes a mechanism to identify underperforming, low protentional activities and work closely with CCB leaders to remediate. Adapts and operates a centralized reporting and planning process around daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly routines. Provides leadership, guidance, and training to staff.

  • Evaluates and analyzes impact of alternative business decisions and identifies solutions to a variety of financial issues.
  • Works closely with assigned business line and builds/updates models to predict benefits that will result from strategic initiatives, relationship deepening, and investments.
  • Responsible for managing financial reporting, planning, and analysis for CCB
  • Measure and report revenue opportunities and cost synergies from the Union Bank transaction

This role is hybrid. Team members who are in a hybrid role typically spend three days a week at a U.S. Bank location, while having flexibility on their work location for the other working days.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

  • Ten or more years of related experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Advanced knowledge of financial analysis concepts and methodologies

  • Well-developed financial analysis, forecasting and planning skills

  • Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships and collaborate across functions

  • Strong written and verbal communications skills, ability to communicate clearly and effectively across various levels in the organization

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks

  • Experience with Essbase preferred

  • Excellent Excel skills

  • MBA or CPA preferred

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. Pay Range: $150,790.00 - $177,400.00 - $195,140.00
