THE ROLE


Ncontracts is seeking a Vendor Services Intern with a basic understanding of project and time management skills. Intern can expect to participate in assisting team members with relevant tasks to meet client Vendor Management goals. You should be a motivated team player who can maintain efficiency with multitasking. You should be collaborative, trustworthy, receptive to feedback, and eager to learn.


YOU WILL


  • Shadow the Vendor Services team to gain experience in providing customer service to clients:
    Gain experience by acting as point of contact for compliance services for clients, Support the Vendor Services team by answering calls/emails related to service questions
  • Assist with Managing, monitoring, and performing tasks for designated client accounts: Gather & organize data for vendor due diligence, Communicate and collaborate with clients and/or vendors via various venues to facilitate information sharing and exchange, Communicate completion of services to client, Perform other administrative duties as directed to learn more about Vendor Services
  • Gain experience in developing collaboration skills as you work with the Ncontracts team: Communicate across teams and departments to ensure an effective delivery of work for client , Experience functioning as a team player, partnering with and supporting Vendor Services managers. This includes a working knowledge of their responsibilities.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to properly communicate our product offerings and functionality.
  • Superior customer service skills are required, with the ability to react quickly and decisively to resolve customer issues in a professional manner.
  • Demonstrated ability to work calmly in a fast-paced team environment; manage special projects without compromising other responsibilities.
  • Ability to use tools to track and manage priorities.
  • Working knowledge of products, services, and systems; demonstrated ability to proactively recommend best practices to clients.
  • Customer Support experience preferred.
  • Experience working in a growth environment, strong preference for experience at acompany providing business services to other business.


APPROXIMATE SCHEDULE & HOURS PER WEEK:
Up to 25 Hours per week; between hours of 9:00-5:00pm CST Monday-Friday


DURATION OF INTERNSHIP:
Summer 2023 and/or Fall 2023 terms


Compensation Information

Pursuant to state and local law disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience and location is $17-$19 per hour.
