Staff Accountant
National Corporate Housing looking for an experienced Staff Accountant who is tasked with various accounting responsibilities as listed below. The selected person needs to have a professional image, strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities:
- Daily and monthly cash procedures
- Daily sales and use tax reports
- Assist in the monthly closing process
- Prepare journal entries as needed
- Prepare monthly reconciliations
- Prepare reports (financial, sales, vendor, accounting and others) as requested by management or markets
- Provide support during annual audit, 401k audit, & other tax audits as they arise
- Assisting in both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable duties
- Provide support on various accounting and finance related projects
- Other duties as assigned by the Accounting Controller
Requirements:
- 3-5 years accounting experience; degree or certificate in accounting
- Advanced knowledge of accounting principles and GAAP
- Strong MS Excel skills on both the logic side (pivot tables, lookups, macros, formulas) and formatting side
- Advanced skills in SQL and reporting software; general familiarity with accounting software and programs
- Strong critical thinking and written and verbal communication skills
- Highly detailed and organized
- Adaptable and hard working. Effectively prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Prior real estate or hospitality sector experience a plus
