Job Overview:
DC – Shift Coordinator Essex Material Movement - Essex and WIliston, VT
As the Shift Shipping Coordinator you will be accountable for ensuring that your Team moves Raw Materials and Finished goods to and from the MFG Lines and in and out of the site safely, accurately and on time . You will need to partner for success with the multiple KDP business groups in a fast paced and constantly evolving work environment.
This role reports to a VT Logistics/Warehouse Supervisor.

Shift & Schedule:
This position will support our D2 team 6:00am - 6:15pm
  • Week 1: Friday-Sunday
  • Week 2:Thursday-Sunday
Working overtime and holidays is required as needed. Working at both the Williston and Essex Sites is required as needed.

Compensation:
This is a full-time hourly position. Paid on a biweekly basis.

What you will do:
  • Set task priorities and manage Teams workload.
  • Manage material movements to and from production (Finished Goods & Raw Materials)
  • Perform Inventory Audits and Cycle Count Event Management.
  • Support IC Team as Needed / escalate & resolve inventory issues
  • Partner with Quality to capture & contain Non-conforming materials and release process.
  • Coordinate/Communicate Raw Material transfers (open STO’s) and Waste/ Scrap Shipments
  • Run and generate reports as needed. (SAP, Excel, MES)
  • Perform Safety Gemba’s, Quality Gemba’s and document results (Teams, AIC, Aramark)
  • Audit and update Standard work and facilitate the Teams training requirement. (Training Matrix)
  • Partner to support Finished Goods Shipments and Williston Team as needed.
  • Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives, 5S events and RCCA
  • Be able to operate PIT Equipment and perform all work tasks within your team’s scope,
  • Coach Team Members to support development of both hard and soft skills.
  • Escalate Safety, Quality and Delivery gaps to supervisor and or manager as appropriate.
  • Communicate Safety, Quality and open / incomplete items to other shifts.
  • Adhere to all Company, Local, State and Federal regulations, and policies
Other Necessary Functions
  • Responsibility to report food safety, quality and regulatory compliance deviation to DC management.
  • Follow all Keurig Dr. Pepper policies and procedures.
  • Participate in daily huddles for input, feedback on trends, training issues, practices that need to be improved
  • Daily interaction with Employees/Management in Essex / Williston
  • Performs other duties as requested by management
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED or actively working toward one.
  • 6+ Months of Leadership Experience is preferred.
  • Strong math and computer skills (Microsoft suite).
  • Knowledge of Warehouse and Shipping principles
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written
  • Ability to multi task and manage stress
  • Fosters positive relationships and culture.
  • Ability to follow and give direction.
  • Ability to follow Keurig Dr. Pepper policies and proceduresAbility to walk and stand on concrete floors for 12.5 hour per day

  • Previous work with continuous process improvement preferred (value stream analysis, 5S)
  • Strong attention to detail and good trouble shooting/follow up skills
  • Positive attitude/self–motivated
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently
  • Prior Inventory Control and /or shipping experience is preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS:
  • Ability to lift 75 pounds frequently with mechanical assistance.
  • Ability to lift 30 pounds on a regular basis and 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to constantly lift, bend, stretch and stand during entire shift.
  • Ability to push/pull up to 1,500 pounds using supplied equipment.
  • Ability to frequently kneel, squat, bend, and stoop, twist, and reach overhead with repetitive motions.
