We are hiring Rehabilitation Registered Nurses at Frazier Rehabilitation Institute
Location: 220 Abraham Flexner Way, Louisville, KY 40202
Shift:Float, 7a-7p

Frazier Rehab Institute services include nationally recognized brain injury, spinal cord, and stroke recovery rehab programs accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Rehab Facilities (CARF), with research being conducted with the University of Louisville. Frazier Rehab Institute continues to be a national leader for rehabilitation services, such as the EMERGE program, which is designed to help patients with severe traumatic brain injuries and who are at low levels of consciousness, and locomotor training for post spinal cord injury patients, which allows for weight support standing and walking.

Responsibilities:
Job Summary
As a Rehabilitation RN, you will collaborate daily with physicians, therapist and case managers to achieve the best outcome for patients who have experienced life altering events. In this role you will ensure appropriate plans of care are developed and implemented to meet patient needs for rehabilitation. You will develop skills associated with trauma, brain injury, spinal cord, respiratory care, and other chronic health conditions.
As a Rehabilitation RN you will work to guide and implement the return to function of major body organs and systems in collaboration with the physician and therapy team.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program
- Current KY RN licensure or compact license with privileges to work in Kentucky
- Basic Life Saving (BLS) accredited by the American Heart Association)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) accredited by the American Heart Association (may be required in specific units)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (may be required in specific units)
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program
