Position: Monitoring Center Supervisor
Location: Pittsburgh, PA

Overview:
Edgeworth Security is actively hiring for supervisors. The Supervisor position is on site in our Pittsburgh monitoring center where you will receive onboarding and continuous training to help you learn new skills and succeed in your role overseeing agents as they respond to alarms and monitor client locations.

Skills & Experience:
  • Proven experience in leadership and personnel management. Experience in security, loss prevention, law enforcement or military preferred.
Compensation and benefit details:
  • Full-time = full benefits (medical, dental, vision), paid time off, and more after 60-days of employment.
  • Hourly rate is negotiable based on experience.
  • Opportunity for pay increase yearly based on reviews.
  • 401(k): Matching 5% following 90 days of employment offered to both full-time and part-time employees
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee staff in monitoring and incident response services to protect client locations from intrusion, theft and other unauthorized or criminal activities
  • Manage scheduled remote patrols of client sites
  • Provide leadership, guidance and address issues and events as they arise
  • Dispatch security personnel and law enforcement as needed
  • Document incidents in reports for management and clients
Important considerations:
  • Night and weekend shifts will be required
  • Due to the nature of the work, discretion is especially important
Qualifications:
  • Intermediate computer proficiency and skillful in the use of MS Office a must
  • Minimum 3 years in a supervisor or Leadership role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer service background preferred.
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Work a minimum of one weekend shift (Sat or Sun) per week
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Professional demeanor
  • Self-starter capable of working individually and as a strong contributor to the team
