Let's dive into the job position details:

  • Working in Assembly and on CNC machines
  • Set-up of mills and lathes including three-jaw chucks, tools, attachments, collets, cams, gears, and stops indicating vices and tramming heads
  • Inventory parts used in assembly process
  • Program mills and lathes by entering G-Code including zero reference points; setting tool registers, offsets, compensation and conditional switches
  • Maintaining specifications and observing drilling, grooving and cutting – this includes turning, facing, knurling, boring and thread chasing operation
  • Take measurements of parts, detect issues and troubleshoot processes to adjust and re-program
  • Ensure product quality by adhering to procedures and processes
  • Assemble and fit component parts using fixtures and go/no-go gages
  • Use of pneumatic and hand tools for assembly of up to 1,000 components
  • Construct small parts and components to create new machines according to Felins specifications
  • Inspect assembled products for any faults or defects
  • Repetitive motion with pneumatic and hand tools
  • Must be able to stand for long periods and move about the facility, and lift up to 75 lbs
  • 2 years’ experience in machining, including set-up and operation of mills, lathes and drill presses
  • Familiarity with CNC programming and CNC operation
  • Strong mechanical ability and background working on autos or other equipment
  • Experience reading/interpreting blueprints/wiring schematics
  • Knowledge of pneumatic hand tools for assembling products
  • Knowledge of component assembly & straight assembly electrical wiring
