Pow Pow, is an award winning, all plant-based Asian restaurant, known for our house-made proteins and fun but well-executed dishes. Two locations at 1253 H street NE, as well as 1250 Eye street NW.

We are a restaurant that is open 11am-9pm everyday of the week. We are seeking a Line Cook that is flexible and able to fill BOTH day and evening shifts. Our ideal candidate is attentive, punctual, and engaged, with a passion for hospitality to join us along the way.

Qualifications

You'll be successful in this role if you have:

*Cooking experience or Back of the House experience preferred *Able to meet all scheduling commitments *Open availability *Able to anticipate needs of others in the kitchen and proactively work to meet those needs *Strong attention to detail *A strong work ethic and sense of urgency *Team sensibilities and dependability

Responsibilities

*Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies *Chop vegetables, prepare sauces and other food preparation. *Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff *Clean up station and take care of leftover food *Stock inventory
