Lead Biller - Credentialing & Charge Team
Job Summary
- This position performs company wide supervisory and contributor level efforts for all clients in the areas of Charge entry and credentialing
- Responsible for all activities associated with contracting, credentialing, and enrollment of new and existing providers, practices, and locations to include timely updates and approvals in an effort to prevent loss or delay in revenue.
Functions and Duties
- Supporting and overseeing the credentialing process by providing efficient and effective operational duties and administrative needs.
- Providing training, coaching and overall guidance including daily assignments to team members within areas of responsibility
- Facilitate completion of application packets with extreme accuracy and close attention to detail as needed for new credentialing and maintaining current enrollment.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with insurance representatives, internal team members and possibly providers and/or client front office staff, with the ability to build constructive relationships.
- Obtain and track statuses of applications in process and call out applications needing to be completed in the near future.
- Other duties as assigned or as needed.
Required Skills
- Past professional experience in at least some aspects of revenue cycle management: past experience as a medical biller meets this requirement
- Extreme close attention to detail and stellar organizational skills are a must
- Professional written and verbal communication, ability to document and converse effectively
- Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, EHRs, Practice Management and database applications
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, projects, and demands successfully
- Can work independently, research and solve issues, and answer questions using tools provided
- Proficient in computer use to include data entry
- Maintain confidentiality at all times
Required Experience
- Education – high school diploma or GED equivalent
- Experience – two (2) years of experience in the healthcare industry or related job experience

- Starting Salary: DOE
- Hours/Week: full time position, 40 hours per week, 8:30am – 5:00pm, Monday – Friday
