Park Architecture LLC is seeking a Landscape Architect / Site Designer for our office in Hanover, New Hampshire.

Since 2007 Park Architecture LLC has been designing thoughtful landscapes and site plans for numerous clients throughout the US. The focus of our work is in Vermont, New Hampshire and Massachusetts serving both public and private clients. We are pursuing dedicated and engaged individuals to work collaboratively as part of our Landscape Architecture office.

The Landscape Designer will support our office with the preparation of conceptual, permitting, and construction drawings for residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional sites. Assignments will include the preparation of detailed layout, grading, drainage and landscape drawings. In addition to site design work and landscape plans, you will also prepare custom site details such as paving, patios, freestanding & retaining walls, fencing, walkways, sculpture, pools, arbors, and outdoor amenities. Responsibilities will include the production of accurate, detailed and organized work products that effectively communicate design intent, as well as participation in the CAD quality control process and overall management of company CAD standards.

Required Qualifications:

  • Professional degree in design related field of study
  • ·0-5 years of relevant experience
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Adobe Suite (Photoshop) and Microsoft Office
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task and able to handle 3-4 projects simultaneously
  • Good written skills, site documentation and analysis capabilities

Preferred Candidates:

  • 1+ years' experience in a related field or internship
  • Familiarity with construction documentation, architectural and engineering design
  • Skilled with hand rendering, illustration, drafting and sketching capabilities
  • Understanding of New England landscapes and native plantings
  • Basic understanding of website design and marketing
