Job Description

Title: Human Resources Manager

Seniority: Manager

Home Location: Las Colinas, Texas

The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for overseeing all HR functions, including recruiting, employee relations, performance management, and HR compliance. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a strong understanding of employment laws and regulations, a fast-paced sense of urgency, and experience in within a brick & mortar field organization with a large geographic footprint.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that comply with federal and state laws and regulations.
  • Oversee and manage the HRIS and ATS system, Rippling.
  • Manage the recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees.
  • Conduct new employee orientations and ensure compliance with all required training.
  • Manage employee relations issues and provide guidance and support to senior management and staff.
  • Oversee performance management processes, including performance appraisals, performance improvement plans, and disciplinary actions.
  • Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations, including ADA, FMLA, EEO, and OSHA.
  • Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to increase employee satisfaction and retention.
  • Manage HR-related administrative tasks, such as payroll processing, benefits administration, and record-keeping.
  • Monitor HR metrics and provide reports to management on HR-related activities and initiatives.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends and best practices to ensure HR policies and practices are current and effective

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Human Resources management, preferably with experience within a field organization with a large geographic footprint.

• Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations, including ADA, FMLA, EEO, and OSHA. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Up to 10% travel maybe required.
  • Professional certification in HR, such as PHR or SPHR, is preferred.
