The Office of Administration is seeking to fill a permanent Human Resources Analyst 2 position within the Infrastructure and Economic Development Human Resource Delivery Center (IED HRDC). Join our team with this exciting career opportunity!
You will be responsible for assisting with the management of employee relations activities for assigned organizations. The work includes consultation, grievance processing, investigation of disciplinary actions, conducting Labor Management meetings, and providing training on employee relations issues. You will provide interpretation and administration of collective bargaining agreements for managers and supervisors. You will participate in and coordinate fact finding investigations which precede pre-disciplinary conferences. You will assist with investigating and recommending resolution of arrests/charges/convictions of any employee or perspective employee in accordance with the Governor’s Code of Conduct. You will also present cases at Western or Eastern Joint Area, and State Committees as described in the Accelerated Grievance Procedure (AGP) and sits as a panel member when requested to do so under the guidance of the supervisor.
You will assist with reviewing and making recommendations in all Union/Management agreements pertaining to the assigned organizations. Coordinate problem resolution for identified issues. Provide Employee Relations training as required. Work with managers to gather contract details and prepare arguments for Preservation of Bargaining Unit Work submissions. Participate in assigned unemployment compensation hearings; representing the best interest of the Delivery Center.
