What role you will play in our team


  • Identify and understand low-carbon market trends / opportunities
  • Recommend market segments to pursue, providing timely, insightful analyses of market/business data to enable effective decision-making
  • Engage with stakeholders, government entities and 3rd party customers
  • This is a Washington, DC based ExxonMobil Low Carbon Solutions role

What you will do


  • Conduct data analysis, market intelligence and monitoring
  • Provide industry and market analysis related to trends, key drivers, business impacts
  • Develop and maintain the long-term demand forecasts
  • Monitor key industry reports for capacity addition announcements
  • Conduct customer/prospect, product, and competitor analyses to support business needs, leveraging broader Low Carbon Solutions organization, including Commercial and Business Development teams
  • Assist in project market analyses as required
  • Support opportunity development and marketing with external customers
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to develop and optimize marketing strategies
  • Assist with commercial agreements between ExxonMobil and potential customers

About You


Skills and Qualifications


  • Masters degree in International Economics or Business
  • 20+ years of combined experience in the energy sector
  • Oil & Gas, Low Carbon / Energy Transition and renewables experience
  • Strong communication, coordination, and collaboration skills
  • Fluent and fully bilingual in English and French
  • Ability to effectively influence others without authority
  • Demonstrated experience in large international organization


Preferred Qualifications / Experience


  • Energy industry experience, including research and market analysis related to commercial and energy transition activities
  • Ability to effectively manage interpersonal relationships across multiple functions and in a diverse and international work group
  • Exhibit deep curiosity, demonstrating strategic thinking to drive long term growth
