The Highway Heavy Carpenter will be responsible for


Key Duties and Responsibilities


  • Instill Safety as a top priority.
  • Working with crews building forms and false work.
  • Measuring, cutting and installing materials per plans.
  • Unloading, handling and stockpiling material.
  • Maintains a clean job site; picks up tools, materials and equipment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications


  • Knowledgeable in OSHA standards.
  • Abel to work at heights.
  • Willingness to learn and accept direction from supervisors.
  • Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License with reliable transportation.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
  • Ability to manage time, multitask and prioritize.

Working Conditions

  • Travel – This project is located in Twin Cities, MN Subsequent projects will be nationally based.
  • Schedule – Work assignment will be weekdays from 7:00am through 3:00pm, with the occasional need to work overtime.
  • Construction Site Environment – physical ability to stand, walk, crawl, bend, reach and climb. Lifting and carrying material and objects. Exposed to high noise levels.
