Unity Homes is a housing construction brand that operates as a subsidiary under the larger Bensonwood Homes corporate entity. Bensonwood Homes oversees the operations of Unity Homes, which specializes in designing and constructing energy-efficient homes using sustainable materials and modern technology.

Unity Homes is seeking to hire an Interior Design Support/Selections Specialist for its growing team.

Position Summary

The Selections Specialist supports clients through the design process, guides the selection of finishes and fixtures, and ensures that these items are successfully delivered. This position is primarily office-based, with the option of occasional remote work.

Additional Responsibilities

• Assist in writing construction contracts
• Generate material takeoffs from plans, and assist in estimating
• Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors
• Process and approve vendor invoices
• Research finish and fixture options
• Assist in developing standard operating procedures

Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Experience and/or coursework in residential high-performance construction
• Experience with interior design and or kitchen design
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
• Experience with, or interest in learning, CAD programs

Compensation & Benefits

• Compensation will be based on experience and skills, in the $20-24/hr range
