Teacher

Full Time /Part Time

Must be over 18

This position would be responsible for many tasks while within the facility. Carrying out curriculum designated for each classroom is the most prominent. This includes but is not limited to, supervising games and activities, and judging whether an activity can be tweaked to better suit the current children in the facility. Assessments on children’s progress shall be conducted periodically throughout the year by the lead teacher but, any and all extra input on curriculum would be helpful! The other responsibilities include maintaining the facilities in your designated area, playing with the children, assisting/supervising during mealtime, promoting personal hygiene, overseeing free time and projects, and whatever else is designated as necessary by the owner.

Required training and qualifications:

· Full time

· experience required

· First Aid/ CPR- can be done prior to hiring or through the facility

· Background check and fingerprinting- done through the facility

· Registration with the Family Care Safety Registry

· ABC’s of Safe Sleep Training- done through the facility

· Good with Children

· Multitasker

· Patient

You must pass both the background check and fingerprinting process prior to hire/first day.'

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Teaching: 1 year (Preferred)
• Childcare: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• CPR Certification (Preferred)
• Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred)
