Key Responsibilities and Expectations:

Integrated Power Services (IPS) is seeking a Commercial Financial Analyst to help drive our financial reporting, consolidation, planning, and analytical processes for commercial activities and special projects. The Commercial Financial Analyst will support the entire organization in working directly with the Director of Commercial Finance. Under general direction, this analyst will develop and interpret financial and operational information for analysis to financial, operations, and executive management teams.

• Work closely with the Commercial Finance team to interpret and analyze financial data
• Provide financial modeling and detailed analysis of actual results versus planned expectations
• Maintain IPS’s customer and seller database and reporting, including support on commercial planning and budgeting
• Special projects are an integral part of this position
• Work closely with the management team in overall financial support of Operational objectives led by commercial activities
• Prepare and present key executive summary analysis to Finance and Executive leadership
• Prepare and validate calculations related to labor burden rates, cost consumption, etc. that drive operational actions
• Analyze and ensure data integrity related to cross-selling and other commercial activity
• Prepare and present forecasts, reporting and analysis, including, but not limited to 1) detailed P&L reviews, 2) continual review of current processes to identify and implement improvements, and 3) provide insight and recommendations for improvement in profitability

Minimum Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or other business related degree
• CRM experience or equivalent is a plus
• Demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and organizational skills and be detail oriented
• Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Prior working experience with Microsoft Office / Excel (i.e., vlookups, pivot tables, if then statements, etc.) is preferred
