GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining PowerBI dashboards and automating reports for various departments and projects. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data analysis and visualization in a professional setting. As part of the Goodwill Industries of Arkansas Internship Program, the chosen candidate will be presented with opportunities to interact with internal Leadership Teams and members of the GIA Board of Directors. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards for various departments and projects. This duty is performed daily, about 25% of the time. 2. Automate reports using Power Automate or other automation tools. This duty is performed daily, about 20% of the time. 3. Collaborate with team members to identify key metrics and develop data visualizations to communicate insights to stakeholders. This duty is performed weekly, about 10% of the time. 4. Conduct data analysis and modeling to support business decisions. This duty is performed weekly, about 15% of the time. 5. Work with large datasets and help to identify and troubleshoot data issues as they arise. This duty is performed daily, about 15% of the time. 6. Help to develop and maintain data pipelines and data integration processes. This duty is performed weekly, about 10% of the time. 7. Provide general administrative support as needed. This duty is performed as needed, about 5% of the time. 8. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty mentioned satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Knowledge of a specialized field (however acquired), such as basic accounting, computer, etc. Equivalent of four years in high school, plus night, trade extension, or correspondence school specialized training, equal to two years of college, plus 2 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS Ability to read and understand documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; ability to write routine reports and correspondence. ability to effectively communicate information and respond to questions in person-to-person and small group situations with customers, clients, general public and other employees of the organization. ability to read, analyze, and understand general business/company related articles and professional journals; ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees. ability to write reports, business correspondence, and policy/procedure manuals; ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS -Valid Arkansas Driver's License -Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Computer Sciences, Data Sciences, Statistics, or a related field. -Passion for working with data and solving complex analytical problems. -Proficiency working with PowerBI, SQL, Excel, and executing queries. -Experience developing dashboards and reports. -Familiarity with Power Automate or other automation tools. -Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. -Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
