Progressive Leasing is hiring a Principal Cloud Engineer. You’ll be a part of a Core Infrastructure team to design and develop new products that leverage the existing assets of Progressive Leasing. If you are comfortable working on both on prem and cloud Infrastructure, this is the role for you.

This role is a work from home position and can be performed remotely anywhere in the continental US or in one of our corporate locations in Utah or Arizona.

• 10+ years of professional, hands-on experience in a combination of software engineering and solution architecture of complex or enterprise systems, Cloud Architecture patterns and specific experience with AWS and/or Azure
• 8+ years of experience engineering delivery processes such as Scrum or Kanban
• 5+ years of professional training experience
• Vast Knowledge of On Prem compute, storage, and network solutions.
• IaC expertise using Git, bitbucket, and Terraform. You’ll be expected to guide existing team to convert on prem changes to IaC while helping to build Infra based code for cloud deployments.
• Hands-on experience with modern front-end technologies including React, Angular, Express, Nginx, etc.
• Expertise with Kubernetes, serverless and cloud-native architectures
• Working knowledge of current topics in software architecture such as evolutionary architecture, autonomous domains, domain driven design, service-based architectures, service mesh, containerization, test automation, end-to-end testing, CI/CD, etc.
• The successful candidate will have hands-on experience in a multitude of technical disciplines, including agile development, business analysis, software engineering, database design, enterprise software architecture, technology leadership, and software quality assurance
