Responsibilities and Qualifications:
The Business Coordinator assists the F&I Director, Sales Managers and Sales Experience Managers in the facilitation of F&I transactions in a correct and timely manner. This position monitors the correctness, status, and validity of sales transactions. This position serves as the vital link between a dealership’s sales operations and its cashable contracts source. The Business Coordinator communicates on a regular basis with sales team, finance team, financial institutions, insurance companies, and the accounting team.
- Must be able to drive and operate vehicle
- Verify and analyze the accuracy and completion of all sales transactions
- Ensure proper information is included on all lease and sales agreements and does so with an emphasis on time
- Keep track of sales, product costs, expenses, liabilities, taxes and reconcile product sales to Accounting books
- Prepare and print the documents needed to complete a sales transaction
- Break down car deals and submit funding packets
- Work with the accounting department to correct all errors on deals
- Correspond with the Sales & Accounting team concerning items needed to fund or complete a deal
- Process paperwork for cancellation of all F&I products
- Business Coordinators, F&I Directors, and Assistant F&I Directors will serve as a contact point for the Client Care Center for all F&I questions
- Assist Sales Experience Manager (SEM) who is contracting and concluding transactions as needed and in some instances, will be asked to assist a client with closing documents
- Identify training opportunities and share with Business Improvement Manager and/or F&I Director
- Expedite F&I transactions requiring special handling (e.g. FedEx) in order to finalize sales or leases, including the printing of necessary documents and forms
- Maintain inventory of F&I supplies
- Commission finalized car deals for Sales Experience Managers (SEM) and bill the finalized deals and provides deal recap
- Monitor the contracts-in-transit (CIT) list daily and corresponds with F&I Director concerning items needed to fund a deal
- Know and understand the Client Concern Resolution (CCR) process and uses the program to achieve client satisfaction
- Know and understand the Park Place Privacy and Information Security Policies and adhere to the requirements
- Attend weekly department meetings
- Attend all necessary compliance, sales and F&I Training courses
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university (Accounting or Finance preferred)
- Minimum 1 year experience working in Accounting or Finance in the Automobile (Required)
- Experience using Microsoft Office
- Must be at least eighteen years of age
- Must have a valid driver’s license and meet company MVR policy requirements
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings (background and drug test)
