Position: Bookkeeper

Classification: Non-Exempt

Department: Administration

Reports To: Controller

Hours: 20-30 hours/per week in the office


The bookkeeper works closely with the firm’s Controller and Director of Operations and is responsible for several functions, including and not limited to assisting with financial reporting, reconciliations, a/p, a/r, and benefits administration.


Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of various weekly and monthly time, billing, and management reports
  • Provide various monthly, quarterly, and annual analyses
  • Reconcile employee expense reports
  • Reconcile firm credit card
  • Process vendor invoices for payment
  • Enter billing rates and budgets into the billing software
  • Records cash receipts
  • Provides clerical and administrative support to management, as requested

Requirements:

  • Associate’s Degree or higher in accounting or business administration
  • 3+ years of related experience
  • Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Maintains confidentiality
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
