Job Description

Dynetics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Leidos, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager to lead programs in our Rapid Integration and Prototyping Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating our rapid prototyping and integration programs.

The individual filling this position will work with a wide spectrum of personnel including executive leadership, program managers, chief engineers, technical staff, business development, and functional organizations across the Dynetics / Leidos enterprise to provide:

  • Effective and efficient execution of existing programs in support of a wide range of Department of Defense customers and contractors.
  • Cultivation and development of existing customer relationships while working to develop new relationships that enhance and expand our customer base.
  • Provide leadership, growth, and development of capabilities of the team to meet the growing demands of our customers, emerging business opportunities, and on-contract growth potential.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 6+ years of experience in the defense industry.
  • Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • Proven experience in prototype development, test and support equipment development and operations and maintenance.
  • Strong technical background, with knowledge of engineering and manufacturing principles.
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage complex projects, multitask, and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team of professionals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience in risk management, including the ability to identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks to the project.
  • Experience working with government contracts and regulations.
  • Experience managing an EVMS program.

Other Qualifications

  • Lead the development and execution of our rapid integration and prototyping programs, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Manage and coordinate all project activities, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and other external partners to ensure that project objectives are achieved.
  • Oversee the development of prototypes and ensure that they meet all technical specifications and requirements.
  • Ensure that all projects comply with the statement of work.
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks to the project.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, and report regularly to senior management on project status, risks, and issues.

Security Requirements

U.S. Citizenship and a current Final Top Secret/SSBI Clearance with SCI eligibility is required. Must possess active SCI clearance with current investigation (within last 4.5 years) and be able to maintain a Top-Secret Clearance.
