Remote Location, Rotational camp schedule
Looking for a highly organized Warehouse Supervisor for a world-class operation in a remote location in Alaska on a rotational camp schedule.
The Warehouse Supervisor reports to the General Manager and the primary role is to supervise and direct warehouse and logistical operations, including the direct supervision of warehouse technicians and inventory control. This role is also responsible for all aspects of inbound and outbound freight operations and is ultimately responsible for management of the mine stock inventory.
Duties Include:
- Custodian of the inventory verifying inventory request and proper use of materials
- Provide leadership within the warehouse department, including establishing board and specific goals for the warehouse team to accomplish; instructing the warehouse leads and technicians how to coordinate daily routine tasks; training warehouse employees; and daily workplace inspections.
- Complete month end closing for bulk issues.
- Compile monthly materials management department report.
- Confirm inventory transactions in the general ledger match inventory valuation on month end processes.
- Maintain accurate files and records, and maintain, improve, and develop inventory management systems.
- Maintain warehouse equipment.
- Provide various departments requested data on warehouse stock issues and order information.
- Work with the purchasing department to resolve problems with vendors and contractors.
- Work with financial staff to resolve invoicing, credits and receiving warehouse operations fiscal issues.
- Maintain training records of employees in the department. Monitor training register and logging formal training as it occurs.
- Responsible for safety programs and overall safety in the warehouse work areas
Details:
- A rotational camp schedule consists of 2 weeks on 1 week off, rotating schedule of days and nights, up to 12 hours a day or more at a remote campsite location.
- Employees are required to stay on site at the company provided camp during the work rotation.
- Camp facilities provide dining service, games room, exercise & weight room, sauna, and accommodation rooms.
- Dormitory rooms have a land line phone, great Wi-Fi & cable TV. Cell service is available through Wi-Fi.
- The Company provides a bus service to and from Fairbanks, Delta Junction and Tok, Alaska.

Minimum Requirements:
- Resume required to apply.
- Warehouse training in business, supply chain management and logistics required.
- Five to ten years of progressively responsible warehousing, inventory control, or other relevant experiences required.
- Three years supervisory or lead role experience required.
- Current Driver's license required.
- Awareness of the Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) Act & Regulations.
- Be able to pass a background check and post offer physical.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Hazardous materials, DOT and load planning/securing training preferred.
- Mining and industrial warehousing experience preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
