Overview:

Signalink, a rapidly growing small company, is currently seeking a UAV Test Analyst to join the team as an integral member of a group of government, military, and contractor personnel that provide program, engineering, and technical support on a wide variety of projects.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Diagnose and solve electrical problems on aircraft systems
• Remove and install aircraft avionics components
  
• Develops and verifies procedures for use with new aircraft features
• Perform software, electrical, and avionics testing
• Inspects, troubleshoots, and performs scheduled and unscheduled organizational level maintenance utilizing applicable Air Force directives/instructions Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA)
  
• Ensures complete and accurate documentation of AFTO 781 series forms and Integrated Maintenance Data System (IMDS) in accordance with Air Force directives.
  
• Conducts demonstrations, participates in operational and experimental ground and flight tests of assigned UAV(s), and represents organization with senior military and commercial customers.
• Installs network technical solutions for testing scenarios
• Assembles, connects, secures and interconnects components such as transmitters, power supplies and antenna assemblies.
• Performs other duties as assigned or required.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience with aircraft software integration
• Understanding of avionics systems functions, networking engineering/configuration, and OSI model troubleshooting experience
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance or higher
• US citizenship
• Up to 10% travel

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (ABET preferred) in a technical field
• Experience with AirForce maintenance standards
• Understanding of MQ-1, MQ-9, or MQ-20 aircrafts
