We, the TBBT (The Big Bang Theory) Tutoring team, have been in business for 13 years and are now looking for a highly-skilled, in-home tutor to join our team of experts in educating the brightest young minds in town.
As the private tutor of Sheldon, Leonard, Howard, Raj, and Penny, you will have the opportunity to guide students through the world of physics, engineering, and advanced mathematics with style, all while enjoying the flexibility of setting your schedule. We understand the importance of balance, therefore, our team offers a flexible schedule that allows you to work around other commitments you might have, this way you can prioritize your time as you wish.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized, one-on-one instruction to students in the comfort of their own home
- Create lesson plans and instructional materials to meet the needs of each student
- Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
- Communicate with parents and guardians to provide updates on student progress
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in science or engineering
- Teaching experience, preferably in a one-on-one or small group setting
- Strong knowledge of the subject matter
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Ability to work independently
- Passion for teaching and helping students succeed
- Sense of humor and references to sci-fi movies and series is a plus
