Freeway Corporation, a successful and growing metal component manufacturer is seeking a Tool and Die Maker to join our team at our facility in Rockford, Illinois. This position includes maintenance and repair of all metal stamping dies on the plant floor. The successful candidate will be diligent and flexible, with a high level of attention to detail.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Reading and Interpreting blue prints and drawings
• Demonstrated ability to repair, sharpen, and rebuild as needed
• Responsible for reworking and troubleshoot jobs on compound/progressive tooling
• Able to provide own tools that are required for tool and die repair
• Must be able to physically lift 50lbs
• Must be willing to work overtime
• 3 years previous experience with compound/progressive dies

Required Education: High School or equivalent
