Hands on Learning Academy is looking for knowledgeable lead teachers . Our curriculum is engaging and diverse and we are looking for talented teachers to execute it effectively. Some of the credentials needed are:

• Understands and implements the curriculum
• Able to run a safe and effective classroom
• Implement Brain Waives on a daily basis.
• Post weekly lesson plans
• Create a monthly supply list/book list
• Be imaginative with new and creative ideas by bringing interesting things to the group
• Make smooth transitions from one activity to another.
• Be ready and willing to discuss children’s progress or any concerns a parent may express.
• Able to evaluate and fill out KRK assessments on the children weekly.
• Holds parent/Teacher conferences.
• Delegate other duties to assistants
• Uses problem solving skills
• Communicate effectively with parents

Must be able to clear a background check and FBI fingerprinting

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
