Salary Range: $64,480 - $80,000
This position is to support ground, laboratory, and flight test activities for the Advanced Systems Integration Team at the F/A-18 and EA-18G AWIL.
Essential Job Functions:
Assist ASI engineers with ground, laboratory, and pre/post-flight activities to meet flight test requirements.
Attend planning meetings for the test activities and will coordinate across teams and with VX-31 and VX-9 to execute ground, laboratory, and pre/post-flight activities to meet flight test requirements.
Provide AESA Radar instrumentation developmental and sustainment technical support, asset tracking and allocation, flight test data review, flight clearance technical support, and planned lab and aircraft integration testing.
Coordinate and execute equipment movement to support the ASI testing.
Required Skills:
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
High school diploma with, at least, 10 years of related experience.
Able to obtain and maintain a DOD security clearance.
Obtain and maintain NACS (Non-Aircrew Cockpit Systems) qualifications and be F/A-18 and EA-18G seat qualified.
Obtain and maintain GSE licenses to include power cart and air conditioning cart.
Obtain and maintain a COMSEC briefing and certification and will be responsible for the handling of COMSEC material.
Ability to move bulky equipment from storage to flight line vehicles and aircraft, as well as install equipment in aircrafts.
Desired Skills:
Bachelor's degree plus two years of experience.
Familiar with F/A-18 or EA-18G flight test activities and with F/A-18 and EA-18G instrumentation systems.
