Technical Recruiter

Job Summary:
Technical Recruiter responsibilities include managing job descriptions that attract top talent, sourcing, screening, and providing a shortlist of qualified candidates for various technical roles. The Technical recruiter will network with potential candidates to promote employer brand, reduce time-to-hire, and ensure we attract top professionals. Position will build a strong tech talent pipeline and help hire and retain skilled employees. The Technical Recruiter manages end-to-end recruiting for different roles at all levels across the organization and works with leadership to continue scaling the company’s growth.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting process, ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience
  • Proactively source and attract passive candidates through a variety of methods, building a consistent pipeline of talent for high priority and hard-to-fill positions.
  • Contribute to hiring processes & procedures, employer branding, onboarding, and organizational planning that will allow the company to scale effectively.
  • Develop strong relationships with hiring managers to understand and ensure alignment on the specifications of each role needed while executing solid sourcing and recruiting plans.
  • Partner with the HR/Compensation team to ensure roles are being offered at competitive market rates.
  • Co-manage the applicant tracking system, post jobs, assist with job descriptions and compose offer letters.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Ability to write accurate job descriptions for a variety of roles.
  • Proven strategies for evaluating candidates that predict on-the-job-success.
  • Understanding of and strategies for compensating for implicit biases
  • Solid skills at producing meaningful recruiting metrics and use of data-driven recruiting strategies.
  • Strong familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems, SeekOut, LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, and resume databases.
  • Solid knowledge of sourcing techniques (e.g., social media recruiting and Boolean search)
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate confidential information.
  • A track record of negotiating and navigating complex compensation conversations.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and personal methods of ensuring no candidate gets left behind or falls through the cracks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s or associate degree preferred; technical background required
  • REQUIRED: Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and SeekOut.
  • 5+ years of technical recruiting and sourcing experience with a combination of both agency and in-house recruiting experience
  • 5+ years’ experience recruiting for information technology professionals such as project managers, agile scrum masters, product managers, business analysts, software architects, software developers, testers, database administrators, data scientist, data engineers, data analyst, DevOps, security specialist, geospatial developers/analysts, cloud platform specialist (Azure and AWS) and low code platform developers.
  • Experience identifying and using recruiting networks.
  • Nationwide recruiting experience
  • Small to mid-size company experience desired as well as hands-on experience in operations or other professional work that demonstrates versatility/service mindset.
