The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of services between clients and caregivers, for the implementation of schedules, adequate staffing, and continuity of care to best meet the needs of the clients. Staffing coordinator is one of the most important roles in our business. HomeWell Care Services is one of the fastest-growing homecare companies in Lake County & The Villages, is looking for an experienced staffing coordinator for our Villages office.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Schedule caregivers for hours of service on new clients and open hours/shifts on existing cases. Provide consistency in caregiver scheduling with clients.
  • Be a focal point of communications with caregivers and clients
  • Match the right caregivers to the right clients
  • Be responsible for the well-being of both the clients and the caregivers
  • Keep caregivers’ schedules full while fulfilling requirements of client care plans
  • Assist with HR functions such as hiring/recruiting and orientation
  • Use a web-based scheduling application as the basis for all schedules
  • Keep a “hot list” of all staff that can be placed immediately or used as a backup for all call off situations
  • Fill open shifts and secure coverage for call-offs or changes in client’s needs
  • Maintain ongoing communication with Managers, Caregivers & Clients regarding scheduling and changes

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • A “people-person” who’s able to remain pleasant and considerate under stress
  • Meticulous attention to detail- excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn quickly and continually
  • Prior experience scheduling in private duty home car is preferred
  • Prior experience as an in-home caregiver is a major plus
  • ClearCare knowledge is a plus
  • Must be a good person and someone we want to hang out with (seriously).
  • comfortable utilizing various technologies and computer programs.
  • Proficient with computer use and software applications
  • Multi-tasker and customer service-oriented

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Experience:

  • Private Duty Home Care Scheduling: 1 year (Preferred)
