We have an exciting opportunity open for a Southeast Territory Manager! The role of the Territory Manager is to sell the Avidity Science laboratory products and solutions throughout the life sciences, laboratory and research customer base in the designated territory/region.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Drive revenue growth by identifying product solutions, matching our products to customer needs and minimizing competitive losses.
  • Build and strategically manage relationships with new and existing customers
  • Establish yourself as a trusted expert through mastering product knowledge and differentiating our solutions from the competition.
  • Develop and execute detailed account plans including understanding customer goals, business objectives, and corresponding strategies.
  • Leveraging our CRM software, manage multiple, complex sales processes from initial contact through receipt of purchase order, training and beyond.
  • Participate in conferences, meetings and trade shows as needed to generate sales leads and increase awareness of company product lines.

  • Knowledge of validation requirements in a GLP environment.
  • Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Knowledge and understanding of strategic, corporate and product messages.
  • Knowledge of standard manufacturing and business tools, including Microsoft Office.
  • In-depth industry knowledge.
  • In-depth understanding of customer goals, objectives, strategies, and competitive situation.
  • Ability to build long-term strategic and executive-level relationships.

  • Ability to translate technical product knowledge to both technical and non-technical customers.
  • Ability to develop, manage and measure business plans and strategies.

  • Professional level presentation skills.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Biology, Life Science or related field and 2-5 years’ selling experience preferably in the life sciences, laboratory, medical research or biotech/pharma industries.
