Shift Supervisor- Lubbock, TX
This is a full-time, exempt level position.

Position Summary:

• This is a full-time exempt salary position at a Cotton, Canola and Corn Germ Processing facility. Work is on rotating shifts with regular weekend work.
  Shifts rotate 1st, 2nd and 3rd Shift
  Supervising the daily activities of safety, quality, and production procedures as well as leading employees in all aspects of production during shift
• Supervise the daily activities of an operations unit’s hourly personnel in a 24/7 oilseed facility

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in resolving workflow and scheduling
• Implement operational procedures, and enforce company plans, policies and rules
• Using excellent interpersonal skills, handle worker issues honestly and directly
• Determine safe and efficient operations for the shift that is consistent with management’s daily objectives.
• Supervise the daily activities of an operations unit’s hourly personnel
• Understand and follow company safety procedures
• Develop understanding of the process and be able to troubleshoot

• The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or its equivalent with 3-5 years' of experience in a supervisory role
• Basic computer knowledge is necessary
• Timely attendance is a must
• Ability to climb stairs, some lifting, sit and stand for long periods of time, work with heights, bending, kneeling and respirator qualified
• Ability to work a rotating shift in a variety of environmental conditions, including nights, weekends and holidays
