The Role

MarketAxess has changed the landscape of credit trading through our All to All trading protocol and continued automation. As our client network evolves, we recognize the opportunity to enhance our current product offering with innovative data solutions designed to improve efficiency, price discovery and execution quality. As such, we are looking to hire a Senior Product Manager for our Data Product Team. The Senior Product Manager is expected to work closely with our sales team and technology team to develop data products that expand our current footprint and bring a competitive advantage to our clients.

The ideal candidate will be an expert in fixed income pricing products. They will be excited about the power of data to transform fixed income market workflows, providing both price discovery and efficiency to our clients. Ideally, they will have experience in several fixed income areas including Corporates, Agencies and Municipals. The candidate should be able use knowledge in these asset classes to help MarketAxess accelerate the evolution of fixed income data.

How You'll Help Take Us There

• Establish the product strategy and design for closely related data-centric products in the MarketAxess ecosystem: CP+ Pricing, Liquidity, TRACE, TRAX and distribution
• Interface directly with Data Sales, Trading Sales, and existing clients to identify enhancements and new features
• Work closely with other internal stakeholders, especially other data and trading Product Managers
• Ensure alignment of the data product strategy with the company's global business goals
• Apply knowledge of fixed income trading/data product practices and conventions from both buy-side and sell-side perspective
• Contribute to the core positioning and messaging for each product to maximize profitability and commercial success
• Develop KPI metrics for communicating business progress
• Responsibility for all aspects of in-life products, including client feedback, requirements, and production issues

What We're Looking for

• Bachelor's Degree
• 10+ years of fixed income pricing experience
• Self-motivated and quick to respond to business challenges
• Strong communicator with excellent client facing ability
• Analytical and strong excel skills to mine and present data
• Strong problem-solving capabilities
• Excellent PowerPoint and presentation ability
• Ability to manage projects and prioritize work effectively
• Results orientated
• Thrives in an entrepreneurial and start-up environment
• Experience with agile development, including techniques, processes and practices

For job positions in NYC, NY, and other locations where required, the estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $175,000 USD to $250,000 USD. Actual salary may vary depending on job-related factors, which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. You may also be eligible for annual cash incentives, equity, and other benefit programs.
