Job Duties:
Responsible for coordinating own table section.
Communicates with front and back-of-house team members to provide an excellent and memorable dining experience for our guests.
Describes and suggests menu items and beverages, including seasonal specialist.
Takes and processes guest orders and ensures that all items are properly prepared and served in a timely fashion.
Facilitates entire guest experience, from time they are seated through departure, ensures guest satisfaction, and responds to additional requests.
Qualifications:
Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.
Must be able to converse with guests in a warm, friendly, gracious manner.
Must be able to perform simple mathematical calculations.
Must enjoy guest service, have excellent organization skills, and great sense of timing.
Other Job Requirements
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
Prior experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant, preferably one that serves seafood, is required. Strong knowledge of wines, preferably Northwest wines, is also helpful.
Physical:
Must be able to stand and walk for periods of up to four hours. Must be able to bend, stoop, and carry up to 20 pounds frequently.
