PROJECT DESIGNER

SDA Architects & Designers is currently looking to hire an experienced Project Designer.

Job Summary:

We are looking for individuals to join our team, providing high-quality design drawings and construction documents, from preliminary design through construction.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

· Work with the design team on construction documents, design (space plans), presentations, design development, and production.

· Coordinate with consultants including structural, MEP, lighting, AV, landscape and civil consultants to ensure full coordination of construction documents

· Assist Project Architect with RFIs & submittal reviews during construction administration phase

· Development of scope and scheduling of timelines of critical milestones

· Develop project specific details for brand implementation on various building types

Candidate Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design or related field

· 2-5 years of experience; entry level will be considered on case by case basis

· High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite (preferred)

· Strong knowledge of architectural design concepts, practices, construction documents, and procedures

· General knowledge of interior design packages

· Knowledge of building codes and standards

· Ability to work as part of a team

· Excellent communication, writing, and organizational skills

· Positive, creative, and professional approach to design

· LEED AP is a plus, but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $42,460.00 - $116,038.00 per year
