In coordination and collaboration with the Director, Strategic Sourcing, this position will be responsible for managing sourcing and procurement initiatives supporting Disney Cruise Lines. In addition, this role will be responsible for managing our Supplier Relationship program as well as our Contract and Policy Compliance initiative.
This person will recommend and manage the execution of sourcing strategies and priorities for the categories.
The individual will be accountable for leading business unit sourcing initiatives that consider supply chain processes and improve the total cost of ownership, quality, service, and compliance.
The Senior Manager, Strategic Sourcing, Disney Cruise Line is also accountable for providing operational support and thought leadership for the Business Unit. The Senior Manager will ensure consistency in approach and quality/depth of analysis during the sourcing process.
Key Accountabilities
Focus on the key metrics of Quality, Service, Cost and Compliance.
Manage operational procurement groups to provide best value to constituents while considering impact on operations, customers, and competitors.
Evaluate total cost/supply chain management analyses to identify opportunities to reduce Total Cost of Ownership
Serve as a business partner to internal key stakeholders by identifying their critical business requirements and providing procurement services to meet/exceed their expectations.
Provide rigorous cost and market analysis following the models established by Strategic Sourcing
Prepare and execute clear, structured negotiations following the established strategic sourcing process.
Implement cost effective technologies to increase transaction efficiencies, drive down overall cost of procurement, improve quality, and raise the level of service.
Ensure consistent application of procurement processes across constituent groups.
Identify, develop, and deploy best practice supplier management, procurement, and supply chain practices.
Institutionalize procurement performance measures that demonstrate value and ensure supplier performance.
Ensure compliance and performance measures are established, tracked, and achieved.
Build and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers.
Demonstrate exemplary integrity and ethics in all instances.

Related industry experience procuring a diversified range of products and services.
Understanding and ability to apply e-procurement technologies.
Experience with AMOS, SAP, or other ERP
Deep understanding of external market analysis to ensure best pricing/service mix.
Knowledge of:
Best practices Sourcing Discipline, SRM, Supplier Diversity, Sustainability, Supplier Alliances, Supplier Qualifications, etc.
Microsoft Office Professional Suite
Business process reengineering and supply chain management expertise
Desired Qualifications:
5-10 years’ experience in a Strategic Sourcing environment
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
CPM or similar certification
Internal/external business consulting experience preferred.
