Senior Sailpoint Engineer, IAM (Remote-Eligible)

We are seeking Sailpoint IdentityIQ Engineers who are passionate about building game changing solutions. As a Capital One Sailpoint Engineer, you’ll work with a team of engineers with deep expertise and passion in solving complex problems and creating solutions that delight our customers using Capital One’s best in class Sailpoint IdentityIQ implementation running on AWS.

What You’ll Do:

• Bring your Sailpoint identityIQ expertise to bare on a team and customer base with an insatiable appetite for growing the capabilities of the IAM platform

• Share your passion for staying on top of IAM trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies, participating in internal & external technology communities

• Work within and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical IAM solutions that are foundational to enterprise capabilities on a massive scale

• Directly contribute to the IAM platform by developing creative and efficient configuration and coding solutions that differentiate us from the competition

• Help to evolve and grow our IdentityIQ testing best practices

Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent certification

• At least 4 years of experience in Information Security

• At least 1 year of experience supporting SailPoint Applications

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree

• 4+ years of experience creating IdentityIQ customizations using Beanshell

• 3+ years of experience in Java, JavaScript, Selenium, JSON, XML, and REST development

• 1+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or another cloud service

• 3+ years of experience in open source frameworks

• 2+ years of experience with Oracle or SQL

• Familiarity with Identity Access Management or SailPoint IdentityIQ

• Experience in creating REST API documentation using Swagger and YAML or similar tools desirable

• Knowledge of AWS services (S3, EC2, EMR, ECS, SQS, CloudWatch)

• Knowledge of Active Directory, LDAP management, or MFA

• Knowledge of Jira, Git, or Jenkins

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

Location is New York City: $161,900 - $184,800 for Prin Assoc, Cyber Technical

Location is San Francisco, California: $171,500 - $195,800 for Prin Assoc, Cyber Technical

Remote roles in other areas of New York & California, and across Colorado & Washington: $137,200 - $156,600 for Prin Assoc, Cyber Technical

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
