The Opportunity

This position works out of our St. Paul, MN location in the Electrophysiology division. In Abbott’s Electrophysiology (EP) business, we’re advancing the treatment of heart disease through breakthrough medical technologies in atrial fibrillation, allowing people to restore their health and get on with their lives.

The Customer Experience Analyst II will operate in numerous functions to provide support for to the Quality organization including quality metrics and data analytics, post market surveillance, inspection readiness, audit management and compliance activities. The Director of Customer Quality partners with all aspects of the business including marketing, clinical, operations and R&D to ensure the execution of remarkable customer experiences. This role closes the gap in communication practices across the business with a focus on analyzing and translating Voice of the Customer feedback for key stakeholders to drive change and deliver results.

What You’ll Work On

  • Lead the execution of Customer Experience Strategies to become an irreplaceable partner with customers
  • Refine and implement methods to collect and analyze customer feedback
  • Develop and support dashboards for proactively measuring internal business data and their correlation with the net promoter score of Abbott Electrophysiology
  • Present insights of internal data to various levels of management of opportunities for further solidification of the loyalty of our customers
  • Assist with ad-hoc, monthly quarterly reporting for the Electrophysiology division and propose opportunities for automation and time-savings
  • Oversee quality management elements and departments as directed by leadership and the organization
  • Lead by example to promote Abbott’s Key Behaviors and drive Key Results
  • Ensure and maintain a safe and professional work environment
  • Provide development of macros, extracts, and dashboards for various data needs across the business
  • Comply with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and other international regulatory regulation requirements/standards, company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments
  • Support all Company initiatives as identified by management and in support of Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and other regulatory requirements

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree preferably in an applicable engineering discipline or data science with four or more years of progressively increasing responsibility and work experience in Quality, Design, Engineering, and/or Research & Development
  • Broad cross-disciplinary and in-depth knowledge and experience with industry accepted quality assurance methodologies
  • Experience working in a broader enterprise/cross-divisional/matrixed business unit model preferred
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a geographically diverse business environment and personnel base
  • Experience with Advanced Excel (pivots and/pr macros), Microsoft Power BI (or Tableau), and Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Ability to work effectively within a team in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills with an ability to effectively communicate and present at multiple hierarchal levels in the organization
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, meet/exceed deadlines, and hold themselves, staff, and others accountable
  • Strong organizational, strategic planning, and tactical execution/follow-up skills
  • Travel to various customers up to 20% of the year
