Travel state of Florida developing generator customer base.
Under the direction of the District Manager, the Generator Specialist will develop rentals and sales power generation in Florida by following sales leads, making presentations, preparing quotations, maintaining all required literature and providing customer follow-ups. The incumbent will also assess customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions. Some overnight travel is required. Company Vehicle provided.
Must have strong sales background, must be able to generate new sales and work closely with the sales team.
Provide temporary portable power solutions to Commercial, Industrial and seasonal customers.
Maintain current customer relationships and develop new customers in order to obtain or surpass the yearly revenue budgets in line with company procedures and targets.
Support existing regional sales teams with product and application guidance, as well as training when needed.
Create and execute an annual territory sales plan, account management, cold calling, presentation development and delivery, closing deals, working with operations teams to ensure customer needs are met.
Provides technical sales assistance and works with the local selling team to increase the business of existing and new accounts.
Records daily and weekly activities in the CRM system.
Self-starter is able to work with limited supervision; capable of formulating sound business/territory management plans, setting priorities, and implementing ideas in a timely manner.
Able to quote prices and credit terms, negotiate deals and prepare appropriate paperwork for orders.
Strong math skills are required; able to read estimates and work with discounts, percentages and dollar figures.
High mechanical aptitude required; must understand job situations and project conditions to suggest products best suited for customers.
Excellent customer satisfaction skills and sales ability to build and maintain strong internal and external relationships.
Strong PC skills and the ability to self-develop and adapt to changing technology.
Willing to travel and work hours required by the job and customer demand.
