Seeking a driven and self-motivated individual to join SMG/NEX category sales as the worldwide Enterprise and Cloud Networking Sales Director focused on driving a multi-billion-dollar business. This business including customers delivering their own physical appliances e.g. Routers/Switches, Firewalls, SD-WAN / uCPE where we must win them with our silicon building blocks and triangulate with ODMs to customers that are delivering SaaS e.g. Secure Access Service Edge, SASE, Multi-Cloud Networking, or XDR infrastructure based networking/security solutions via their own PoPs across the world using OEM gear to running these services from the public cloud. This person must have the ability to look at the big picture and put together SMG/BU plans to make sure we're able to close as much of our targets possible via covered account while figuring out ways to ensure that the partner-covered plan is solid to triangulate design wins for a healthy funnel given the long-tail of customer we need to reach; this person must also have a go-getter type attitude to roll up their own sleeves and call on customers where needed to ensure max success across the board. This person will be dotted line reporting into the VP/GM of the BU to ensure strong BU alignment.
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
6-8 years of experience in silicon and or SW sales into enterprise and cloud networking solutions with OEMs and ODMs (e.g. firewalls, VPN, ADC, routers, switches, uCPE, SD-WAN)
6-8 years of experience in sales management: pipeline management, setting KPI targets, setting quotas and commissions, defining new or evolving sales KPIs, defining sales incentives, setting regional sales marching orders
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the following technologies and concepts: SDN, NFV, SaaS, SASE, Multi-Cloud Networking, XDR infrastructure
