Position Summary

The Sales Assistant will ensure all inventory homes are properly listed and managed in the MLS system. In addition, assisting Area Sales Manager on managing customer touch points and providing outstanding service to all customers.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Reports directly to the Area Sales Manager
  • Inputs all inventory homes into MLS
  • Updates MLS listings daily for pricing & pictures
  • Updates MLS daily on pending/sold/closed transactions
  • Answers telephones and greets and directs visitors
  • Prepare and modify documents including correspondence, reports, drafts, memos and emails
  • Visits communities to take pictures of homes for MLS listings
  • Interacts with customers as needed to ensure an excellent customer experience
  • Assists all departments in division as needed
  • Interacts as required with other office personnel and staff
  • Oversee incoming and outgoing mail and parcels
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments and travel arrangements for managers or supervisors
  • Maintain supply and equipment stock, determine needs, place request(s) for purchases
  • Responsible for correctly coding and processing credit card expense accounts
  • Performs filing and copying
  • Additional duties as required
Requirements:
  • Ability to use a computer and an understand of computer software including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Outlook
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and schedule work assignments
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Maintain professional appearance
  • Possess an organized and disciplined personality
  • A positive attitude who can take direction
  • Maintains confidentiality at all times while performing job-related duties
  • Willingness to "go the extra mile" to achieve division sales goals and objectives
  • Reliable transportation to travel between office and communities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous office experience
  • Previous customer service experience

Physical Demands

  • Lifting up to 20 pounds occasionally and up to 10 pounds frequently and frequently moving small objects
  • Frequently sitting for long periods of time
  • Walking or standing occasionally
  • This position works mostly indoors going outdoors may be frequently required
  • Must have manual use of hands and vision to use computer constantly
