Available positions: 3pm-11am, 11pm-7am

$15.00-16.50

A typical work day is 8 hours. We are a 24/7 Assisted living Facility, open year around.

Our Assisted living Staff cares for Alzheimer's patients at all levels of care.

• Caregiver Job Responsibilities:

Assists residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring and getting to and from activities and meals according to the individual service plan. Allows and encourages residents to do as much of their own care as possible.

Requirements:

1). Assist resident from a sitting position.

2). Assist resident from a laying position.

3). Help resident with dressing, includes bending to put on socks and shoes.

4). Help residents with bathing which includes undressing, helping into shower, standing beside them and physically wash their body.

5). Assist resident to toiler, changing adult brief, personal hygiene care.

Various household duties:

• Laundry, taking clothing and linens in and out of washer and dryer.
• Placing dishes in dishwasher.
• Preparing and serving meals.
• Dusting furniture.
• sweeping and mopping floors.
• vacuuming floors.
• Making beds.
• Emptying trash.
• Follow cleaning schedule.
• Assisting residents with medications (after medication class has been taken and certification achieved).
• At times may need to lift more than 15 pounds.
• Pushing a wheelchair
• Assisting with and steering a walker.

* Because we care for Hospice patients, some of our residents will need full hands on care.

• Interacting with residents using a pre-planned activity calendar as guide. Activities include exercise class, music therapy, craft, playing board games and socializing.
• Interacting with Families and Health care professionals.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.50 per hour

• Jacksonville, FL: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Caregiving (Preferred)
