Legrand
has an exciting opportunity for a remote Regional Sales Manager - Spec to join the WattStopper Team in Western region.

What Will You Do?
Role: Responsible for the development of territorial Sales and the implementation of Marketing strategies set forth by the company; staffing sales positions with qualified, independent agents on a timely basis.

Main Activities:
  • Organization: Team Leader competency model
  • Main Interface: Internal – Sales and Marketing teams. External – Customers, Sales Reps., vendors
  • Budget: Provides input to operations budget, manages function to budget

Main Job Duties:
  • Prepare Regional annual business plan for Specification in support of company objectives and present to RVP and VP Sales.
  • Manage, update and implement activities and strategies to support the plan
  • Evaluate the performance of all sales agencies. Counsel, train, advise, assist, and direct their activities in support of the complete Legrand offering and company objectives.
  • Motivate the Field Sales Force to high achievement levels
  • Develop an effective Distribution network by growing key strategic account relationships
  • Travel extensively to maintain a presence throughout the region.
  • Work in conjunction with senior management to coordinate market efforts in order to maximize volume, mix and margin.
  • Prepare annual sales and expense forecasts.
  • Conduct monthly and quarterly business reviews with Agents and Distribution channels.
  • Develop key End-User and channel relationships to enhance market/product intelligence as well as volume sales.
  • Provide regular feedback to senior management on sales potential and other important activities within the region.
  • Fiscal responsibility for cost center in conjunction with budgetary levels provided
Qualifications:
Education: Minimum, Bachelors Degree in Sales/Marketing or related field, Masters Degree Preferred

Experience:
  • 5 years experience in a world class Sales/Marketing organization
  • 5 years experience in managing across teams
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
High level of communication and organizational skills, strong teaming skills, personal sales skills, marketing implementation strategy, manage complex issues such as; distribution selection, personnel selection, territorial development. Maintaining the image and integrity of the Company with our clients, consultants, distribution partners. Negotiating contracts, maintaining our margins with distribution channels.
