The Budd Group is currently searching for an Area Human Resources Manager who will be responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level in the Charlotte, NC, Columbia SC, Charleston SC, and Greenville, SC areas. They will serve as a resource for field management on a variety of topics, including employee-related issues, compliance training, employment law compliance, and Budd Group policy implementation, support recruiting and retention efforts, safety initiatives, performance management, and new hire onboarding. COMPETENCIES Communication HR Expertise Investigations Project Management Relationship Management Ethical Practice Time Management Training SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS • Exceptional communication skills, writing skills, interpersonal skills and ethical mindset • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism and confidentiality. • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations • Proficient with MS Office Suite and/or GSuite • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems, Ceridian Dayforce. • Bilingual preferred. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE • Four-year degree or equivalent work experience (Degree in HR, Safety or Business preferred) • Three plus years human resources management experience.
